 Preview

The primary function of the ECHO-FLEX™ 4800 ergonomic stretcher is to bring the user closer to the patient in order to achieve an appropriate position for diagnostic ultrasound. This is made possible by adding a curve in the mattress and the height adjustability of the stretcher. Although standard configurations are recommended for specific applications, the ECHO-FLEX™ 4800 stretcher can be adapted for all procedures. A gynaecological stretcher, for instance, can be adapted for cardiological use with the addition of an opening for cardiac ultrasound [1], or it can adapted for radiology by positioning the foot section upright. The Trendelenburg option is also available for this stretcher.

[1] Opening for cardiac ultrasound: This is a removable opening in the mattress that facilitates ultrasound of the heart.
